About Aeterna Photography

Since 2000 Aeterna Photography has been providing a unique photography experience to families of all kinds. By employing the storytelling methods perfected by a long tradition of documentary photography, Aeterna produces fine art images that chronicle family life today to be preserved as family history for tomorrow.

Documentary photographer Shaleece Haas founded Aeterna to fill a gap she saw in family photography. While families have many opportunities to have their portrait taken, and digital photography has made it increasingly easy to take family snapshots, there are precious few ways for families to build visual records of their lives together. Shaleece founded Aeterna to provide families with photographs that merge family records and fine art.

Committed not only to creating compelling documents of daily life, but also to contributing to the community, a portion of Aeterna's profits are donated to non-profit family service organizations.
